After a day long recovery period after golf cart adventures (oops)… we got our act together and sailed to Culebrita. A beautiful uninhabited island just off the coast of Culebra. We picked up a free mooring close to the beach. It was a surprisingly busy harbor during the day with sailboats, charters and sportfishing boats coming in and then leaving before sunset.
Pleasure Beach
For some reason we insist on climbing up to lighthouses at high noon.
No trespassing, but the huge gaping hole in the fence was too enticing to pass up.
The oldest lighthouse in the Caribbean, still standing for now.
Looking southwest
Looking southeast
The Freemasons must have been involved in this
Even the floors were well done at one point
Not a bad spot
Looks gorgeous! Glad you guys have made it so far. :)
